Kelly, originally from the St. Louis area, moved to Morris in 2010. She graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with a bachelors in Kinesiology. She then went on to attend Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. While there she earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic as well as her masters degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Not only does she use traditional chiropractic techniques, but is certified to provide other modalities such as acupuncture, Active Release Technique and class IV laser therapy. Kelly takes a different approach to chiropractic looking at how the body moves and functions as a whole as opposed to treating just the symptoms.
Erica began her career at CPAW in March 2016 after working in the banking industry for 10 years. Erica and her family have relocated to Northern Georgia, but she continues to be an integral part of the CPAW team. Now her main focus is on marketing and helping the growth of the office. She also handles a lot of "behind the scenes" dynamics of the office.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Patty began her career at CPAW in February 2020. She graduated from Cortiva Woodridge Campus in 2011 with honors. She enjoys creating a warm, relaxing environment for her clients to relax and unwind during their massages. She uses a combination of Swedish and deep tissue techniques to provide a soothing and effective massage session.
Tara started her nursing career in 2001, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. She spent many years working in pediatrics at local community hospitals as well as Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital. In 2015, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing and is board certified as a family nurse practitioner. Since becoming a nurse practitioner, she has worked in urgent care and occupational health and has a special interest in pediatric health and minor injuries. In her free time, Tara enjoys crafting and spending time with her husband and son.
Chiropractic Physician & Acupuncturist/Herbalist
Dr. Brian Emrys is a U.S. Army veteran who pursued his passion for helping people within the health care system. Upon separation from the military Brian moved from Long Island, NY to Plainfield, IL in 2013. He earned two bachelor’s degrees, a BS in Sports Science and a BS in Health Sciences from American Military University. He then went on to pursue his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine as well as a Masters in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine with National University of Health Sciences (Lombard). He continues to enjoy expanding his medical knowledge by receiving training and certification in many different areas. He is passionate about comprehensive care and meeting the complex needs of his patients. Dr. Emrys works diligently with his patients to ensure their health goals are achieved. In his personal life, Dr. Emrys seeks opportunities to learn new things with a special interest in martial arts, gardening, bee keeping, soap making, and service dog training. He loves spending time with his wife and daughter, training & teaching martial arts, enjoying the outdoors and its many adventures, to include: white water rafting, kayaking, camping and sky diving.
Melissa began her career at CPAW in the fall of 2020. She is a medical assistant, Certified Phlebotomist and has her Associates in Science from JJC. Melissa is passionate about nutrition and continuing her education in Nutrition as a Health Coach through Precision Nutrition. She is also working on her Bachelor of Human Environmental Sciences with a Major in Food and Nutrition through the University of Alabama. Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and learning about chiropractic care.
